At The Friends, we love our park, visitors, and local community! We strive to provide the best possible experience to our guests as if they were our family. The Friends, along with our community members, business partners, and generous donations help to keep Jonathan Dickinson State Park one of the most beautiful state parks in South Florida!

We provide orientation, training, Workers’ Compensation coverage and volunteer recognition events and awards.

All donations to The Friends and Club Scrub go towards maintaining and upgrading our beautiful park, and our annual fundraising projects. Your donations help to keep the hiking and biking trails clean and clear, they buy supplies for educational programs and events, put on new and exciting programs for our community, fund major park projects and enhancements, animal habitat and plant community restoration, general office supplies for park staff, and much more. We would not be able to do any of this without your charitable contributions and memberships to The Friends and Club Scrub.
